Date A Live‘s Iori Nomizu (Is This a Zombie?‘s Haruna) voiced Yoshinois is remarkably shy, generally talking through her rabbit puppet rather than communicating directly. And, of course, an angel can turn that rabbit into a giant, attacking kaiju puppet. She also seems to be the series’ break-out character. So July, we’ll be getting both a figure and a hug pillow. Joysound Anison library available worldwide without restrictions
A Japanese karaoke app by the name of nana has made news recently by confirming that the developers have signed a new agreement with karaoke chain Joysound which lets them offer the chain’s catalog of anison titles for users to record and sing over with friends. Get a look at fighting girl and yukata designs
Last spring, Konami was inspired by the success of the Attack on Titan manga to launch a mobile, digital card game on the Mobage platform. In turn, drawing from author Hajime Isayama’s interest in MMA (the armored titan is a Frankenstein’s monster of Brock Lesnar, Alistair Overeem and Wanderlei Silva) and the ever present fan interest in girls in yukata, the game inspired some amazing character redesigns. A DVD and Blu-ray is planned for September
Sentai Filmworks announced at this weekend’s Anime Central convention that they’ve licensed This Boy Caught a Merman, Soubi Yamamoto’s indie anime follow-up to This Boy Can Fight Aliens! A DVD and Blu-ray is planned for September, along with a Golgo 13 complete set, Nyan Koi! with an English dub and Phi-Brain season 2 part 2. More after the jump.
