March’s Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2013 & Dengeki Bunko: Haru no Saiten 2013 event announced that Gakuto Mikumo’s Strike the Blood light novel series about an ultra-powerful vampire and the sword shaman girl assigned to mind him is slated to be adapted into an anime this year. Keiji Inafune and Spark Unlimited’s side story heads to PS3 and 360
Things have been relatively quiet recently in regards to Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, a Ninja Gaiden side story that pairs Team Ninja with former Capcom producer Keiji Inafune and the folks at developer Spark Unlimited. Now we’ve got a batch of screens and a new interview video, which you can peep past the break.

Character goods maker Cospa has previewed a selection of merchandise that they will be selling early at this month’s Anime Content Expo. These include a neat Sword Art Online Asuna necktie which has a pretty subtle Knights of the Blood guild motif on the outside and partially undressed pic of the heroine inside. Just in time for the Thermals’ upcoming sixth album (expected later this year), Sub Pop is reissuing the Portland pop-punks’ first three records on vinyl, the label announced today (January 24). On March 5, fans can own limited-edition, colored vinyl copies of 2003′s More Parts Per Million, 2004′s Fuckin’ A, and 2006′s The Body, the Blood, the Machine, all of which “have been unvailable on vinly for some time,” according to the statement…

An early look at anime adaptation of zombie girl light novels
This has to be one of the fastest moving zombies ever. An anime adaptaton of light novel Calamity of a Certain Zombie Girl, by the Blood+ light novel’s Ryo Ikehata, was just announced last week and already Kadokawa has posted an early look at that adaptation. Check it out after the jump.
