Japanese "Star Driver" Movie Home Video Release Date Announced

Anime offers a rearrangement of the fabulous mecha TV series, with new post-ending epilogue

An August 21 release date has been set for a Japanese DVD/Blu-ray release of the new Star Driver anime movie. Character and mecha designers Yoshiyuki Ito and Shigeto Koyama will be illustrating the packaging. The feature, which opened in Japanese theaters in February, offers a rearrangement of the fabulous mecha TV series, with new post-ending epilogue. More after the jump.

"Fate/Zero" Characters Eat Sweets Together For Local Japanese Town Promotion

It’s always nice to see F/Z characters in a peaceful setting

No matter how cruel and gruesome the ending to Fate/zero was, it’s great that ufotable keeps giving us fans the glimpse of how the show could be if their world was peaceful. The Machiasobi project, lead by ufotable CEO Kondou Hikaru to promote his home town of Tokushima with anime was successful at creating a special package of samples of 5 popular and established local sweets, with Fate/Zero characters gathered in a new family-friendly poster to promote it. "My Little Monster" Manga Conclusion Scheduled

After ending in August issue of “Dessert,” final volume will be released this summer with OVA episode

Kodansha’s manga magazine Dessert is now listing that Robico’s shoujo relationship comedy My Little Monster will be ending in its August issue, going on sale June 24th. Back in January, the 11th collection of the series announced plans to wrap up in volume 12, which will be shipping this summer with an original anime episode. More after the jump.

"Blast of Tempest" Manga Ending Next Month

Last chapter to run in April issue of “Shounen GanGan”

Artist Ren Saizaki has confirmed on Twitter that the Blast of Tempest manga will be ending in this year’s April issue of Shounen GanGan, on sale March 13. This means that the main story of the 2009 super powered thriller will probably go 10 volumes. However, the team, including scenario creator Kyo Shirodaira have a spin-off in the works.
